Internet Phone Fee
We already pay a tax to use the internet. Why don't we see what develops before we start charging for what may develop. I don't IM, and I don't VOIP. If I want to talk to someone I pick up the phone, and I pay several taxes for using the voice network. By the time we develop all the technology to meter VOIP traffic and IM traffic, and who knows what else, there may be some other message type to replace these.

Maybe the Federal Government and FCC should just plan on having less money to work with.
