Java is so thread happy that it is very easy to build an application or applet that will spawn over 50 threads. This is why Java is used on servers even though it was originally intended for small appliances. Well that and Microsoft's dominance on desktops. This news confirms what has happened in the X86 space at Intel and AMD.
