Core 2 Duo
I don't get why they won't add the same technology thats inside that wafer of the core 2 duo processor. Core 2 duo would be more stable, and who needs that sh*tty netburst, I bet thats why intel pentium 4 ran like crap and didn't run so stable, also the hyper threading i would say was a scam also, I don't know the difference between the northwood with out hyper threading and the prescott with hyper threading. I would say the northwood ran more stable. But bench marks say the added hyper threading makes the chip faster. I always stayed with the northwood, in my systems back then, and also purchased northwood chips with hyper threading. But now the Core 2 Duo is the future, and I will continue to use the core 2 duo. My laptop also uses it. I am pretty satisfied with it.

But bringing back that netburst technology, a no for the major corps. Go with AMD for the server until intel realizes bringing back old technology into a new processor is not a good idea. All that pentium 4 sh*t p*sses me off.

I would say AMD is perfect for all servers. not an amd fan boy, but i would say it would be a better choice until someone beats intel upside the head with a frying pan.
