- If these Core 2 Duo's perform as solidly as the Core Duo's but more powerfully...W-O-W! I am definitley saving up! The Core Duo is the 1st processor I purchased since the original AMD ThunderbirdK6 way back in 98 that really demonstrated a leap in performance.
