It's possible to buy sales by reducing profits, as you know.

Sun had 13% of total sales ($1.59 of $12.29 billion), so a large percentage change for Sun doesn't mean a major shift in market share.

And the dollar amount of increase is small enough that it could easily be used up by discounts.

I hope this was a good quarter for Sun. But profit trumps sales as an indicator of success.
