I have a 65 inch Sony HDTV that is less than two years old. It has a
DVI connector but I guess that's not good enough for the new
format. Am I supposed to buy a new set just to play the new discs?

I might be tempted to buy a new player, but I'm not buying a new
TV set. Guess I'll stick with pay per view on PVR (no extra charge
for the compression artifacts on rogers service!) Well at least I'll be
using my existing DVD collection for a while yet.
