Shining example of what is good!?! The Russian mob rules the streets...The government either unable or unwilling to reign the mobsters in. Heck half if not more of the government is in the pocket of the mob. The very recent election did not apear to be up and up. Democracy HA!

I'm not saying tha the former Soviet Union was any better...However I can't say what they have now is all that great either.

In the end..I still don't have any idea what that has to do one way or the other with Apple? Apple is not a monopoly in the traditional sense. As many a PC/Windows fan will as often as possible point out..Apple has a small(if profitable) market share in the PC world. Also there are plenty of competitors in both the MP3 player field and the downloadable music field, and the list for both is growing rather than shrinking.

As for the other poster. The iPod and the iPod mini are good products..maybe even great ones. The consumer realizes that this product is hot, hot, hot...and the vast majority will waite patiently to get one. After all Apple does not even make the hard drives found in the iPod(s) so blaming Apple for having a popular product and finding it difficult to keep up with demand, and her suppliers also having difficulty keeping up with said demand is a bit silly. Since you found a product and got it with in a few days...Perhaps one of the reasons it was so easy to get is the relatively low demand for said. (At least compared to the iPod mini)
