What's good for the Microsoft Goose
is good for the Apple Gander. After all, if Microsoft can protect a term as generic as "Windows", why not "pod"?

On a related note, I so far haven't heard of Apple fans referring to themselves as "pod people", to the relief of the makers of "Invasion of the Body Snatchers". (Though lawyers MAY be on retainer. )
