The main problem i have with the integrated memory controllers
for 4 or more procesors, is that you have that many different
memory controllers, and different banks of memory for each
one. It actually hurts performance a lot if your say using 4 of
the 8 processors, and each processor has 8gb of memory at it,
but you need like 10 each, and it hurts the performance to
basically borrow the other memory thats paired up with the
other 4 processors, ecspecially if they are being used for
something else. Theres always pluses and minuses to design
choices.
