Better security - flash card reader

Encrypt your hard drive or files, and place the key on the flash card. It can be a large (e.g., 4k) key, since you won't be typing it in. Use a system like GPG, so that a passphrase is required as well. Now you need two pices of information; the key on the flash, and the passphrase in the person's head.

This is considerably more secure than a fingerprint reader, which is trivially bypassed (hint - there's a fingerprint of the needed finger on the reader itself).

Anyone serious about security wouldn't use this. This is just a toy.
