Then pretty soon you have to click away an ad, then you're in AOL ad hell. This is a really BAD choice for Tivo. You're just motivating people to make that extra stab at getting MythTV to work or buying something like MainConcept's PVR.

This is what happens when you stop seeing your customers as people and start seeing them as a revenue stream.
