Yes, Intel has to work hard.
Yes, I agree. Intel has to work for its customers. But so does AMD. We all know that the IBM deal with Opterons was guaranteed for AMD. AMD didn?t sweat for this deal.
At the moment Intel is doing some house cleaning because they realized that too many egos are not good for business. AMD should learn something from that. Innovation is compromised when there are too many egos. In time we?ll see who is pulling the strings at AMD.
Personally I?m not loyal to chip companies, because the chip itself is just part of a system and not "the system."
