"But Hector Ruiz?" The last several months this guy has been venting tech stuff out of nowhere. To me it looks more like stock price manipulation because everytime AMDs stock goes down, Ruiz has to say something to push it up again (even if what he says is untrue). Why do you think AMD stock goes up and down like a yo yo? It's quite amazing that AMDs calims don't match the roadmap. So why do they have a road map? To show they can use Flash? DAH...

When an engineer gets promoted to management, his/her ego just explodes for no reason. And in place of thinking as an engineer with a management job, most of the time these people start overpolishing their self-made marketing beliefs and in the end they start behaving more like "used car dalers".

The reality is that AMD needs new and honest management, and very few people are willing to address this issue because they worry about their own skin (jobs).

Personally I like AMD because sparks innovation when others are complacent. But if AMD are going to shoot themselves in the foot because of stupid management, then I personally don't care.
