I hope AMD will, too.
If I were those who work at a workplace for buying servers, I won't bother with Woodcrest; instead, I'd go with AMD Opterons.

Last time I've heard about the benchmarks between AMD FX-62 and Intel C2Extreme X6800, for 64-bit processing under Windows XP x64, performance went up with FX-62 from Windows XP 32-Bit and for Intel, performance went down in XP x64 than in XP 32-Bit. Intel did the very best to match the instruction set with AMD64's but still may not up to par with AMD64 instruction set made only for Athlon64 and Opterion processors.
