Opening iPod, not a bad idea...

Actually I think it is an excellent idea for Apple to
encourage others to use Fairplay/AAC... They have the
easiest to use site. I checked out WalMart today and found
it was like many other competitors (though oneof the better
ones). "To download an album click on all songs within
album", "move your downloaded file... blah, blah, blah".
Having competition is something that can only help Apple
by allowing it's choice of format to gain some traction. Hey,
why is everyone so pro-WMA when it is more proprietary
than AAC and Fairplay!!! Come on Apple... remember SONY
and BETA... it was the better format but lost on numbers...
you can be best at both now and in the long term.
