Competitors does not imply no monopoly
The proof that there is no barrier to entry with mp3s, is the dearth of competition. The Zune move is furtherproof that "entry" is not barred. All players additionally compete with peer to peer.

There has always been a dearth of competition in the OS market, it just so happens that all the competitors together held a very small fraction of the market. How does the same thing not hold true in the media player market?

No, I think we will never see any anti-trust action against Apple because the media player market simply isn't deemed to be an important enough market to regulate. Oil? Vital to the economy and subject to anti-trust. Telecomm? Vital to the economy and subject to anti-trust. OS? Vital to the economy and subject to anti-trust. Media player? Simply doesn't matter.
