Sources inside Microsoft have confirmed reports that Microsoft
has run into unexpected trouble getting iTunes to run properly
on the upcoming Vista operating system.

Microsoft spokesman, I.M. Lyin, said that Microsoft is working
closely with Apple to rectify the situation, but put part of the
blame on Apple for not properly understanding certain
undocumented APIs in Vista.

Mr. Lyin went on to deny that a leaked Microsoft email that said,
?Vista ain?t done till iTunes don?t run? and which bore a ?from?
address of ?steveb@ microsoft.com?, was an actual Microsoft
email and that such a message would have anything to do with
the upcoming Microsoft music player and service.

Mr. Lyin also told reporters that he could not confirm rumors
that the upcoming Windows XP update #3,489,766 had the
unintentional effect of ?breaking? iTunes.
