This is about the new architecture
This celebration from Intel is about the all new architecture. It is not about going up a notch in the races. With this new IA, Intel can start the next roadmap that will take their CPUs far into the future. They can be built upon with speed, cores, cache and instruction sets. All this plus they will not have power or heating issues as they go. It is an amazing new start for them after the last few years of innovative stagnation.
