I guess it depends on what you mean by big vendor and pole position, but I would say that none of the biggies are currently leading with AMD. As far as revenue, here would be the #1 process of what I would consider to be the big server vendors:

IBM -- Power5 (and sells more Intel than AMD)
Sun -- Sparc
HP -- PA-Risc or Intel (depends on how you
define a server)
Dell -- Intel

What big vendor has AMD in the pole position?
AMD is more than competitive right now, but
it takes time to turn big companies around.
