Well, that's one shoe: IBM is the last big server vendor to put AMD in the pole position.

Next we'll be hearing the other shoe drop in Texas as Dell does the "in for a penny, in for a pound" and puts the screws to Intel by introducing AMD-based product across the board [1].

[1] Before flaming, I'm well aware that AMD doesn't have the capacity to fill all of Dell's requirements. That's OK -- 10% of Dell will do wonders for keeping AMD in the game and Intel under control (as Dell sees it.)
