core 2 duo is still a crunk of ****
first off, i admit i'm biased towards amd, but i always prefer anything that's better.

secondly, anything faster is the bigger, fatter, meatier sausage. sadly, the core2 duo is a little too fatty, having heart attacks every time it has to go back to the main bus.

so where do we go to? something with its' own memory. wouldn't it be smarter with higher cache and integrated memory like crocker and peddie suggested?

that's unless you want a burnout pretty quickly.
