No punn intended Crocker, but your argument is the same one about HT and integrated mem controller. Here you have Core2 duo having neither and it kicks AMD's finest and most expensive in a @ss!

The point is, all the elegance you talk about has merit, but you over position it.
** First, their is sufficient bandwidth and sufficiently low latency in with the current FSB implementation and cache mechanism.
** Secondly, nobody cares how the sausage is made - as long as it tastes better than the other sausage.

I'm afraid AMD is the 'other' sausage.
