1) SGI Altix 4700; Montecito, 1.6GHz and
2) p5 575 nodes; power5+, 1.9GHz
similarly configured.

The 16 way Montecito based Altix performed %20-%50 below a 16 way p575 node.

If you HAVE performance numbers SHOW THME UP because we are still interested in the Altix.

If not, keep quiet and release hot air only from your rear end wink
