Besides that, if you had noticed the history of chips recently. It's pretty much Intel trumps AMD, AMD comes along and trumps them, wash, rinse and repeat the cycle.

Both have too much cash to "go away" after a bad year or so.

It is also kind of interesting to think about why Intel is ditching 1,000 managers. Odd thing to do if you're just about to "win the whole thing" as you and people who reviewed the new chips are saying.

Also, if they're firing 1,000 managers, whose going to manage the presumably way more than 1,000 people that worked under them?
