Hey try getting a job at 55. Ya I have gone to collage after the nafta layoffs. Got my MIS my novell and ms certifications starting on cisco now, hey guess what no one wants to hire me. To old I might use their insurance and rase their payments. After ten years of part time jobs in the IT field I now have a full time job as an IT tech. what ever that is, it includes system administration, setting up all computers and networking equipment and software, at a whopping 22k a year. Now how is more education and the debt that comes with it going to hepl me. As an Industrial maintenance mechanic with four certified skills, welding, pipefitting, electronics, and 22 years of experience as a machinist I made about 40k a year before my job went to Mexico so what are you ideas to help me just get back to the level I was at 13 years ago????
