Divide between U.S. tech firms, China--a great wall?

All the whiners read this

I've dealt with these people on both ends. On one hand there are hypocrites, on the other there are aholes. Only the blinded would take sides on this one.

US companies are whiners. They want to open up markets overseas, but they complain about letting others into the US market. They speak of competitions, but when they fail to compete on their own turf, then the other sides must be doing something illegal.

I don't see the US allowing other countries to manufacture products the government deemed so "secret" that the technology is not to be exported.

The US only allow US citizens to work on high security projects within US, but when China does the same thing, it's protectionism. (yet those US companies still manage to ?leak? confidential information every other week)

They saved billions by outsourcing jobs to China, but they are unwilling to add a few extra cents to the cost.

They don't want to export their technologies, but they want other countries to invest and build the high tech foundries for them, and better yet, train all the staff for them, so all they have to do is to pay the low wages and nothing more.

And it's as if the US has never put heavy tax on imports to protect the domestic market. Someone's short-term memories are burned out.

The US companies have "invented" so many "standards" to avoid paying royalities to other countries that no one has knowledge on the subject would even dare to bring it up.
