Well duh, over the last five years Intel (Craig Barrett) bought companies left and right to build a communications empire. The result is he made Intel into a giraffe instead of a cheetah.
What is taking place is cut body parts to make it look like a cheetah.
While Intel does have superior products, technology and manufacturing to AMD and will kick their ass, I'm afraid the old, great Intel is no more.
I agree that both Otellini and Barrett need to get set to pasture.
