Here is what you want to know
All name brand computers are pass?. The purchasing public has got to start making themselves aware of some plain and simple facts.

1. Name brand computers manufactures do no use or have access to special or better parts which are unavailable through other means.

2. Name brand computer manufacturers do not use or have access to special or better assembly methods or processes that are not available through other means.

3. Name brand computers are often difficult to upgrade, and attempting to upgrade such computers often requires upgrading more parts then the consumer should need to.

4. Exercising rights under a name brand computer warranty may involve shipping the computer to some distant location and result in significant down time without the computer. It is not unusual for many purchasers to forgo the warranty when they find this out and resort to taking the computer to a local shop for a quick fix.

5. The availability of telephone help lines for many name brand computers is of zero benefit where;
(a) The computer runs properly
(b) The consumer has enough computer knowledge to work their own way through simple problems
(c) The consumer encounters a problem beyond their knowledge and it turns out to be of such complexity that the telephone help cannot properly address such an issue.
The benefit of telephone help lines in recent times has degraded significantly as the consumer has become more sophisticated and now only uses the help lines for complex issues that often are to complex to be solved by way of telephone.

6. There is a wide variety of reliable custom building outlets in every city, and available online that will build a system to your specifications with your choice of high quality parts for much much cheaper then a name brand computer.

The sensible person does not purchase name brand desktop computers for home use, in the commercial setting, possibly if the service contract is so good it out weighs the other drawbacks.
