There are Dell lovers?
Really has to be Lenovo - otherwise at a push HP. But decent prices coupled with real productivity features. REAL System recovery - not factory reset out of the box...

HP - Solid but pricey? - if the difference is less 15% of a simeple PC - it should be a no-brainer for anyone who has understands where the purschase prices sits in regard to the TOTAL COST.

As for IT 'professionals' buying Dell... WOW!
Surely the only IT administrators buying Dell are the ones who STILL haven't grasped the total cost arguement. The only consumers who buy them are the ones who are buying their first or who have been referred by an IT wannabe.
