4096 ferrite donuts
I have gray hair and worked on those old machines - It was amazing that some women in Japan could weave 3 wires (write read and sense)through 4096 minute ferrit cores and it still worked - a computer was big if it had 8K - I was amazed when i saw my first 32k unit
