OK rhetoricpolice , How much will Itanium really help RASM ???
Industry data shows:
- 40% of outages caused by Operational errors
- 40% of outages caused by Application problems (code)
- 20% Everything else - Hardware (server, storage, etc.), Power failures, disasters, OS crashes, etc.

Looking at the facts, what percentage of failures do you really think are due to "the CPU chip"?

Now, back to my original question - where is the price performance trend going - especially as Intel ques to quad processors - and more?

.
