OK, so it's psuedo-random.
It's all up to whether you believe that AMD is making a fair comparison or not. As far as I can tell from the systems I have tested, their "intel equivallent number" has nothing whatsoever to do with the performance difference between the two mainboard/processor combinations.

Based on testing, their number may just as well be random.
