seriouesly.. how will they measure this at all? will there be an actual pattern to this? what happens when a new line comes out? will all the previous chips get bumped down? will last years "500" chip, be next year's "300" chip?

you guys have codenames for each of yoru cores (Intal AND AMD do this), give us soem real distinction.. if i head Northwood vs Presscott.. i can easily tell which i want.. but is the Northwood going to be the 500 chip, because it's older, or the 700 chip, because it performs better?
