No, you get to discard the crappy jewel case for 1/3 off. And if you like jewel cases, they give you better ones for nothing. How is that bad?
Sure, if you have money to burn, they give you options to do so, but what's wrong with that. At least they're looking at options which, like the article said, hasn't happened in 20 years.
