If the new Intel processors are that good Intel
would have been screaming that all day long from the "top floor of their building".

All this appears to be an injection of rumours of for WHAT INTEL IS GOING TO ACCOMPLISH EVENTUALLY AFTER they clean up the bugs in the chips.

By the time that these new processors hit the streets, other vendors would have ALREADY ADVANCED more. Let do a performance comparison THEN.

Nevertheless, Intel is still a novice (!) in mutli-core and multchip designs as IBM and even SUN and AMD are AHEAD of them since long time (especially IBM) ago.

Also, initial analysts reports show NO visible performance improvement of teh "4 core" intel vs their 2 core one.

It IS GOOD THOUGH that Intel is moving so that COMPETITION WILL NOT STAY PUT and MOVC ON.
