INDEPENDANT benchmarks needed
INDEPENDANT benchmarks are needed, as Intel has a sordid history of sending out very biased chips to very biased testers, who give very biased results, which Intel then picks the best bits from. (They're about as credible as Microsoft)

Anyway, it's the Desktop and gaming market I'm interested in, not the servers, and AMD is still undeniably the leader there with INDEPENDANT tests.
