A dazed Intel shifts into comeback mode

Please... Same old Bs

If performance really mattered, Intel would be out of business. You see, the P4 and Xeon have been getting trounced by the Athlon and Opteron since they came out. Yet, Intel sells them by the boatload.....

Not to mention, the "anhilation" is more like a 0-15% increase in speed on certain apps. Hardly an anhilation at all....

But, whatever. Unfortunately for me, my choice of computer and OS (Mac OS X) will marry me to the POS called Intel. Unless they open it up and let me put it on a homebuilt AMD Box, which is what I would prefer.
