FX packaging
"The new package has 939 pins--compared with 754 pins in its current package--and a 128-bit, dual-channel memory controller."

The current FX chips are in 940-pin packages just like the Opteron. They alos have a 128bit dual channel memory controller, like the Opteron.

The 939pin package was announced for the FX line long ago, why report it as "news" ? And then you don't discuss the reasons for the change.

Go find out and give us another article on the new FX that you have actually researched.
