Have you ever worked in a data center ??
To begin, nobody MAKES a 32 CPU x86 box. Further, no SANE IT guy working in a publicly held organization would host 32 PRODUCTION application on a single host.

Also, doing a little research before commenting wouldn't kill you. You have a right to your opinion, but when you make a statement with near zero knowledge of your topic, your credibility suffers.

Read a little, and you will find Blade architecture from a software and enclosure intelligence standpoint make them a far different animal from the monstrous monolithic server you suggest.
