Then there is nothing to worry about

I don't take it seriously because Apple used the exact same system back with the Lisa II. It's also the main system used by NextStep, both of which existed long before Creative filed this patent.

Then this will be thrown out very quickly. I wonder though, if this is such a slam dunk case, why Apple immediately hit Creative with 2 reactive suits of her own? It doesn't seem like the move of someone sure of their case. Perhaps there is more to this than you or I are seeing?

If it turns out that Creative's patent covers something that was not in Lisa and Apple incorporated it into the iPod without paying for it, the "designer" side of you must admit that Apple should be punished. As you said, Ford can't copy VW, you can't copy Amazon, and Apple can't copy Creative.
