Depends on how you look at it
If you have any belief (no matter how silly), you can find "evidence" of that belief if you look hard enough and ignore enough counter evidence. I could say that the RIAA probably has a hand in this. I offer no proof but that doesn't really matter, does it?

The funny thing to me is that the mere suggestion of Microsoft's involvement is likely to affect how certain people will feel about the case. Obviously all the Mac heads will be against it but by bringing MS into it, they can now get all the ABMers on the anti-Creative bandwagon too. Let's take something that is reasonably objective like a court case and make it completely emotional by bringing MS into it. Pretty smart, especially if Apple ends up losing. Then you can spin it away from "Apple did something wrong" to "Microsoft did something wrong".
