MS has the deep pockets (for a protracted court case... Creative does not, considering it's been losing millions per quarter) and obvious reasons to knock Apple off it's perch re mp3 music... player and service which, as with almost all computer-related markets, MS MUST obsessively own and control.

Was it just a coincidence that Creative launched this law suit the same week (day???) Microsoft launched/announced it's latest Windows Media Player with the related tie-in to (the potential iTunesMS killer (cough)) MTV Urge music service?

Naaah... with all the other possible dates at Creative's disposal, no connection at all wink
