Whats to debate?

If a company is providing telephony services regardless of the technology used.

Then the same rules that apply to current "phone companies" should apply to them.

This whole "We are not a phone company because a phone company provides telephone service over twisted pair copper wires. WE provide telephone service over the internet using VoIP. So we should not have to comply with the same regulations as the phone companies"...

Is complete BS.
