Should make themselves stand out by dropping MS. Offer either a system with no OS installed or a Linux alternative with OpenOffice or StarOffice, and OpenSource browser or two for choice. Several other OpenSource software packages, and a few games.
At least then they might be different from all the rest, and better able to compete price wise with the likes of Dell for they will not have the MS tax on any of their systems.
