multi-core processors appeared in the market.... happy It appears that finally Intel managed to ... reverse engineer the Opterons.

Seriously though, WHO still needs Pentiums' NetBurp (TM) architecture?

Whatever happened to the maligned Itanium ?

For goodness sake Intel: you screwed up SGI (which now is bankcrapt) and HP. Can you just do something right? Being at the forefront of processor R/D TAKES time and resources....

Only hope is Power6 and 7 ...
