Adaptive enterprise won't replace humans
As a process transformation consultant, it was rare that IT
was actually a help to business processes unless they were
financial in nature. What I have seen is large companies
trying to make upwards of 800 systems somehow work
together and make something happen.

IT is slow, extremely costly and the opportunities for
savings are decreasing everyday because of the complexity
of systems.

It seems odd to me that HP thinks it can make these things
happen when they rely so much on a complex set up
system suppliers, analysts and the like to make it all come
together.

I see HP going the way of Novell - lots of talk about great
new ideas but until they control the software that runs the
hardware, it will be extremely difficult for them to achieve
and even harder to sell.

Just my 2?.
