A TI-30 can't be used for computer based course materials, can't connect to
the internet for web-based materials, and in general the whole universe of things available on the internet.

And, we are talking places without libraries. It is much cheaper to create virtual libraries.

We might be suprised at the uses of these computers, but cheap computers is a VERY good idea in general.

I will for sure try to get one for each of my kids to play with if possible. Right now they don't have their own computers.

But, this could even be good for the US. Finally a way to give computers to all high school kids without breaking the bank.

How many kids in the US still don't have their own computer?????
