This is no different than photo hounds sniffing around for spy shots on next year's new cars. To call this industrial espionage is a load of bull; if Apple feels this is important to keep hush-hush, then they should've watched who had access to this information to begin with. When this story came live to begin with, the implication was that it was contractors who leaked the information to the various websites. Who's fault is that if 'outsiders' are given so-called priviledged information? The websites? I don't think so.

Apple has spent a lot of effort convincing people that old forms of doing business are dead (re: iTunes Music Store), and that online is the way it should be done. For them to now claim that online information sites should not be considered real journalism is hypocrisy at its ugliest (Why? Because they don't print? Because they don't broadcast? They don't work in the old, anti-online way?).

It's Apple's own fault that the information leaked. It's Apple's own responsibility to find that problem in its own organization, on its own, and not through the courts have someone else--a legitimate news/information entity--backhandedly do their work for them, while in the meantime run roughshod over the Bill of Rights in the name of corporate sanctification.

It's time to say 'shove it' to arrogance of the Chairman Steves and Chairman Bills of the word. Thankfully, the California Appeals Court thinks this way as well.
