An attempt to avoid reporting good news...
... for Microsoft. All the categories discussed in the article are servers, so reporting them together is not incorrect, as long as the categories are not confused.

In the server market, Unix is draining away. Linux is increasing by a significant percentage, but actually smaller growth than Windows. In absolute numbers Microsoft usually grows remarkably well in increasing shipments, with the percentage not bad either.

The article keeps attention on the companies. ZDNet knows its readers well enough to recognize that otherwise only the operating system information would be attended to.
