- Good news, bad news
-
Aside from this being a big yawner of a product release, there is good news and bad news.
Good news:
- AMD adds DDR2 and can claim another industry invention and innovation! An CPU integrated memory controller that features DDR2- Remarkable.
- It is now OK for AMD fans to say DDR2 is a good thing. The time for DDR2 is JUST RIGHT.
Bad news:
- Those DDR2 chips that you *really* want for your Conroe based system might go up a bit.
- I'm afraid the "Intel is a bully" propaganda will get turned up a notch to create a distraction for a likely inferior product, come June. - Posted by: Prognosticator Posted on: 05/23/06 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
